Working With Us

Caron to Liquids Development Center Staff

The staff and energy laboratory facilities at the Carbon-to-Liquids (C2L) Development Center are configured to provide a full range of technical support to build, operate, and assess your pilot- or laboratory-scale energy technology. The Center offers flexible working arrangements and competitive prices, and supports client desires to work with the Center at varying levels of technical involvement by the client.

The Center can provide end-to-end support - implementing the design, engineering, fabrication, erection, operation, maintenance, and optimization tasks needed to commercialize your energy technology. Alternatively, the Center can work with your fabricators, engineers, and erection contractors to install your process development unit for commissioning and operation by C2L engineers, technicians, and scientists. All work occurs in a secure environment, both electronically (process data) and visually (access to your PDU). We understand the importance of protecting your critical intellectual property and know-how.

Center staff will work in close cooperation with your technical staff as PDU testing, lab analysis, products analysis, and data interpretation proceed - improving development and commercialization outcomes. This may be done remotely with your staff at other locations, or alternatively, with a side-by-side working arrangement at the C2L Center. A complimentary on-site work space, phone, and internet connection are available for your key technical staff member if desired.

The C2L Development Center is uniquely suited to provide end-use demonstration of synthetic fuel efficacy, quality and impacts. Southern Research has the capabilities to evaluate the liquid products produced from C2L and other technologies. Both laboratory testing and vehicle in-use testing are available.
